Bed & Breakfast

Private country home, situated on 38 acres providing three attractive suites. The Blue Wren Suite comprises three bedrooms, all with handmade quilts. Large bathroom. Guests have the use of a private large dining/lounge area with its own entrance.

The Rosella Suite is a large room with lounge/dining area and ensuite.

Kookaburras is a one bedroom self-contained unit.

Opposite the airport with extensive views of the Tumut Valley. The house is double brick with sweeping verandahs, surrounded by several trees providing a cool tranquil atmosphere. The garden is home to a wide variety of birds. There are extensive gardens with a tennis court.

Breakfast of cereals, breads, bacon and eggs, fruits, juices and tea and coffee provided. Tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits available at all times.

Pets are most welcome. Well behaved pets are allowed inside. We also have a kennel and small yard at the side of the house as well as a large fenced yard for pets to run in.

We provide Patchwork/Quilting and Scrapbooking workshops. We also provide accommodation and work room for groups wishing to orgainise their own weekends for up to 12 people. Please do not hesitate to contact for more information

Close to snow fields, national parks, fishing, boating, bushwalking, Hume and Hovell walking track. Festival of the Falling Leaf.

Property

Russellee is set in a large garden with a tennis court. Extensive views of the Tumut Valley and surrounding hills. The atmosphere is tranquil ... great place to unwind. We are five minutes from the town of Tumut.

Each of our suites has their own outdoor area with BBQs.

Russellee is located a short drive from Kosiuszko National Park, Forestry walks and the Hume and Hovel Walking Track. There is a reserve at the back of the property.

Russellee is a 40 acre property close to Tumut. We have a variety of friendly animals. The Blue Wren is a three bedroom unit and has a bath in the bathroom. It is close to our tennis court.

Farmland Experiences

Farm animals live on the property, Sheep, Chickens, Horses, Dogs, Other farm animals, Guests able to interact with the farm animals.

Russellee is situated on 40 acres and has sheep. We also have a horse, and alpaca, cats and chickens. Colletcing eggs is popular with children. We have pet sheep that will eat bread out of your hand and an old horse who loves attention.

Fishing

Fishing spots available nearby, Local fishing knowledge available, Boat storage/parking available onsite.

Tumut is a well know trout fishing location. Russellee is not far from the Tumut River and a 15 minute drive to Blowering Dam.

Motor Bike Friendly

Motor bike riders welcome, Motor bike parking available, Property is located on a sealed road.

Russelle is able to provide accommodation and parking for up to 12 motor bikes.

Pet friendly

Cats are permitted, Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Pets are permitted inside, Secure, fully fenced running area, Food and water bowls provided, Other domesticated animals reside at the property.

Kookaburra Cabin is ideal for dogs, (we have had a cat there too), as it has a covered fenced deck at the front door. Kookaburras is a short distance from the reserve at the back of our property where dogs are able to run free. Next to Kookaburras is a very large 1.8m fenced yard with trees that dogs can be left in while you visit the National Park. Small dogs are able to stay inside Kookaburras if you go out for dinner. If you let us know we can keep an eye on them as we live on the property.

The Rosella is also suitable for pets to be inside. Rosellas' has a back door opening out to a large fenced in garden area.

We provide food bowls, information on pet-friendly walks, spare pastic bags to take on walks. Also a pooper scooper and a bin for dog poo.

We have three dogs, five cats, an old horse, an alpaca and sheep.

Romantic getaway

Accommodation just for two, Romance package available, Private living and recreation areas, Bathrobes available for guest use.

Russellee has three seperate areas for guests. All have there own entrances and are selfcontained. Russellee is a tranquil retreat for those whishing to be by themselves.

Snow Skiing

Russellee is an hour drive to Mt Sewlyn Snowfields which is a family orientated snowfield with afordable prices.

Winter Holiday

Winter temperatures usually below 0 degrees.

Tumut is a wonderful area in the winter. Close to Mt Sewlyn snowfields and the walking tracks of the National Park and forestry.
