Cottage, Bed & Breakfast

Private brick cottage with fantastic rural views to Mackay. Five kilometres from Bruce Hwy, 25 mins south of Mackay, 8 mins from Sarina. Total privacy is assured. Use of private saltwater in-ground pool. Breakfast pack supplied to cook at your leisure - enough for both dinner and breakfast! Choice of gas BBQ or electric frypan for cooking, as well as microwave. The kitchen is fully self-contained.

All linen supplied for the cosy queen-size bed. TV/DVD player, air-conditioned. Pet-friendly with a fully enclosed tiled verandah along the front of cottage and plenty of room to exercise your pet. Pets allowed indoors, but not on the bed or sofa.

Locality

Beautiful Sarina Shire beaches just 15 minutes away. Visit Hay Point and Dalrymple Bay coal loading ports and a must is the Sarina Sugar Shed and mini Distillery. Twenty five minutes from Mackay. Tours of Mackay and district can be booked by the owners at your request. Two hours from Central Qld mining areas.

Property

Feed the native birds daily. Cottage is separate from main house so privacy is assured. Listen to the sound of silence... it is so peaceful at night.

Fulled tiled and gated verandah along the front of the cottage. We are on just under 2 acres and the guests and animals are free to walk the gardens. The cottage is totally separate from the house.

$120 per night for two persons and $25 per person for extra person. Room only rate for stays of over four days can be organised with owner - that is no food supplied. There is an option to purchase a meat pack for $10 (beef, chicken, pork)
