"Bayview Cottage was absolutely perfect for our week long adventure in and around Nelson Bay. It is within a short walking distance to the town centre. We also found lots of places to visit by car that were not far away too. We took a camel ride along the beach at Anna Bay, had the best devonshire tea at Tea Gardens directly opposite where the ferry drops it's passengers. And then got to come home to the comfort and tranquillity of Bayview Cottage where after we feed the Kooka's we could enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine, have a spa and relax. One other highlight of our trip was an evening spent at Ritual Restaurant which as it happens is just around the corner, worth a look if you enjoy good food, quite an experience"

"The house was clean, open, large and comfortable. The airconditioning provided a haven in the extremely hot weather. We often took advantage of the breeze on spacious outside verandah that overlooked the beautiful large gardens with views of the water. It was centrally located and a short walk to the Marina and beach. It is pet friendly which is a must when we holiday. Definitely recommend it. Carmel January 2010"

"We had a lovely, relaxing holiday. Bayview cottage was comfortable, great beds and was also equipped very well. Thank goodness for the air conditioner in the lounge and overhead fans. You just need one in the small bedroom now. Nice large garden with a verandah to relax on. "

Our stay at Bayview cottage was excellent. The quality of the accomodation was great and the owner was friendly and very helpful. It is close to shops and water and offers glimpses of the sea from the front verandah.
The house has a lovely relaxed and cosy atmosphere with lots of native birds visiting."
