Studio 17 is virtually on the main street, at the back of Cora-Lyn where it's quiet. Turn left or right to stylish shops, restaurants and galleries. The supermarket is 200 metres away, the movie theatre a similar distance.

Across the road waits the Surf Coast's best surf beach - protected, patrolled and family-friendly.

Swimming pool, trampolines, skate park and playgrounds spread along the foreshore.

And it's all within easy walking distance.

The perfect studio apartment

Studio 17 is the perfect place for a romantic getway. Or, if you have kids, there's a fold out sofa bed downstairs, portacot, kiddie chair and stair guard in the cupboard beneath the stairs, and separate parents retreat upstairs with a Queen size bed.

The well-appointed kitchen offers stainless steel oven and cooktop, fridge, microwave, double sink and all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

The lounge area provides TV and DVD hooked up to a surround sound system.

The dining nook seats four.

The apartment is heated. There's a washing machine and ironing facilities. All linen and towels are provided (except for portacot). And there's dedicated undercover parking underneath with an adjoining guest spot.

Fantastic place to stay! Very comfortable with everything we needed. So close to everything. Would definitely recommend for a great summer getaway.

Lorne is the jewel of the Surf Coast. Picturesque and stylish, it offers everything you could wish for in a holiday. The coast's best protected, beach is right opposite. The Otways stretch out behind you. The spectacular Great Ocean Road leads to Wye River, Apollo Bay, the Otway Fly and the Twelve Apostles.
