We are 5 minutes from Emily and Slaughter Bays which are Norfolk Islands two pristine beaches. Great snorkelling from both beaches, lovely walks, within KAVHA World Heritage listed area with restored convict building, government house, Legislative Assembly buildings, museums, Church, cemetery and many more interesting places to walk to from the beach.

Bushwalking & wilderness

Rocky Point Lodge is 2 minutes down the road from 100 acre reserve and Headstone reserve with amazing walks and views. We are also 5 minutes away from the National Park and Mount Pitt and Mount Bates, Anson Bay and any walking track.

Executive rental

Executive standard, Daily service available on request, Linen included, Internet connection available, Office space/business service area available.

We offer daily servicing for a fee and have a full size laundry within the Lodge for guest use.
Linen is provided and a mid-week change is available although we do try and conserve water as the island relies totally on rainwater. We supply the guests with extra towels and also supply bathrobes and beach towels. A linen change is done on the 7th day for a stay longer than 7 days.

Family Friendly

Farmland Experiences

Rocky Point Lodge is in a rural setting, amongst farmland - we are 2 minutes down the road from Norfolk Blue Restaurant which is on a large farm holding where they breed their own cattle for the restaurant. Norfolk Island is like one big farm the cattle even roam the roads and have the right of way over vehicles. There are farm tours available, horseriding. We also have an unusual range of poultry which roam the island with all the colours of the rainbow.

Fishing

Local fishing knowledge available, Located less than 5 minute drive to water, Boatramp within 5 minute drive.

We are 5 minutes from either of the two piers where the boats are launched for fising.
There are numerous fishing charters and Norfolk can boast some of the best fishing in the world. We are 3 minutes walk from 100 acres where you can fish off the rocks.

Golf

We are 5 minutes from the golf club. We supply two sets of golf clubs for guest use.
Reasonable green fees. Club days Wednesday and Saturday, guest with a handicap can join in on these days. Vets play 9 holes on a Tuesday afternoon and a Chook run is on Friday afternoons. Easy to get a game. Club house has lunches, bar facilities and pro shop.

Horse riding

Sily Oak Horse Riding is 5 minutes from Rocky Point Lodge. They have regular trips with different options and have a small cafe attached to the property.

KAVHA area is located at Kingston 5 minutes from Rocky Point Lodge it is a World Heritage listed convict settlement. Within this area is a local museum which offers several different packages and shows run on a daily basis.

Rocky Point Lodge is down a long drive away from the road and any noise, all you will hear is the roll of the Pacific Ocean and the birds. We do have neighbours but the Lodge is very private and has 3 outdoor entertaining areas including a 20 seater pine table on the ocean facing deck. By booking any of the rooms such as the Master the whole Lodge is then closed off for bookings and becomes exclusive to the guest/s whether they have booked one of 2 or 3 rooms.

Rocky Point Lodge is a 1-3/4 acre property running down to the clifftop of the Pacific Ocean.
Great place to watch the birds and if you're lucky enough you may see turtles and whales go by. Views to Phillip Island, Crystal Pool and 100 acre bay. Beautiful sunsets from the front of the property October to March.

Norfolk Island has a moderate temperature. We go down to around 10 degrees at night during the winter and average around 15-18. During the summer our highest temperature is around 27 degrees. We do have a wind factor which can cool things down in winter but our temperature is still moderate.
