Self-contained apartment

Hastings Point is located 25 minutes drive south of Coolangatta airport. "Beaches" is a mere 100 metre walk along a bush path to the beach where wallabies, whales and dolphins are sited regularly. Apart from surfing and fishing the beach, it is a 5 minute walk to rock and estuary fishing, hire paddle skis and snorkelling or diving sites.

This well appointed modern villa is one of three in the complex and has been recently refurnished. A fully self contained first floor unit with all modern stainless steel appliances. It has a balcony with bar-be-que and outdoor dining overlooking a 90 hectare nature reserve.

There a number of service clubs, pubs and quality restaurants at nearby Cabarita, Pottsville, Salt and Casuarina and a licensed resaurant and service station immediately across the road. There is also a designated bike path that goes south to Pottsville and north to Kingscliffe. Local markets each weekend. Bush and beach walks abound.

So bring your surf or hiking gear, bikes and fishing rods for an ideal fun family holiday or for those just wanting to get away from the hussle and bussle of the city.

Why not climb Mt Warning or take one of the many and varied bush walks or cycle trips around the Tweed

Whale Watching

Watch passing whales from the dunes 100metres from the villa or from Hastings Point which offers a great vantage point to whale watch durning the months from June till November. Whale watching cruises operate from Tweed Heads.
