This property is an absolute delight. It combines the best of the old with the best of the new. Antique fireplaces and genuine sash windows complement a thoroughly modern kitchen and luxurious spacious bathroom with two person spa bath and large shower.

The house has two wonderful queen sized bedrooms with a comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge. Out on the front deck is a hammock and a table and chairs overlooking the lovely gardens at the front of the house. At the back of the house are well kept delightful gardens with a secret love seat for the romantic and a very spacious entertainment area, complete with fernery and fish pond, barbeque and swing for those balmy South Australian evenings.

When you cross the Para River bridge you can choose to follow its banks for a shady walk or continue into the centre of the historic town of Gawler which has a cinema and a number of quality restaurants and bars, all within fifteen minutes gentle walk from the house.

Less than 30 minutes away by car from the Barossa valley but with close access to all amenities including library and supermarkets and only 10 minutes walk away from Gawler railway station, the winery region awaits you but for just a relaxing weekend, what could be better that curled up in front of a real fire after a wonderful spa for 2 Cook for yourself after purchasing good quality country produce in the town or
